Workshops for Warriors’ Ambassador Program is an active and passionate community that spreads the word about our organization and helps activate other community members. Our ambassadors are volunteers who want to show their commitment to Workshops for Warriors by promoting our vision. Ambassadors have an important role advocating on our behalf at conferences, meetings, other events, and with their personal networks.
Ambassadors may be asked to:
- Give presentations to interested audiences (if the ambassador is comfortable with public speaking)
- Network/advocate through their personal network
- Actively promote Workshops for Warriors through online channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram)
- Suggest and actively seek out opportunities to promote Workshops for Warriors

How We Select Our Ambassadors
To be selected as a Workshops for Warriors (WFW) ambassador, you must have demonstrated a passion for promoting and networking in support of WFW, actively shared our social media content and events, and have a history of financial support for our programs and students. Those with a strong network in either the San Diego, advanced manufacturing, or military community are our strongest ambassadors.
Before being selected as an ambassador you will need to tour our facility and meet with WFW Founder & CEO Hernán Luis y Prado to discuss what you may contribute to the role. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
