Monthly Food Distribution Program

Workshops for Warriors launched a monthly food program in July of 2020 to assist our Barrio Logan neighbors during the COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative is made possible by donations from the San Diego Food Bank and partner organizations like the San Diego Police Department who have volunteered alongside Workshops for Warriors to distribute goods.

Street Clean Up

Staff from Workshops for Warriors volunteered for a street cleaning initiative organized by San Diego Councilmember Vivian Moreno in August of 2020. The clean-up took place in Barrio Logan, where Workshops for Warriors is headquartered.

Third-Party Studies & Research

Workshops for Warriors provides job-ready and mission-focused veterans with opportunities to earn nationally-recognized credentials in advanced manufacturing so they can obtain lifelong careers, build America’s economic resilience, and spur a new wave of American innovation. With over two million advanced manufacturing jobs expected to go unfilled by 2028, American innovation depends on training and certifying people for these critical roles.

The third-party resources and research on this page demonstrate why our work – rebuilding American manufacturing, one veteran at a time – is so imperative.
