Our instructors and TAs are the heart of our programs—and for many of our students, they’re so much more than teachers. They’re mentors, role models, and steady supporters who show up every day with patience, discipline, and care. We are happy to recognize our dedicated staff during Teacher Appreciation Week!

Many of them are veterans or former service members themselves. They’ve made the same transition our students are navigating—from the structure of military life to the unknowns of civilian life. That lived experience gives them a unique ability to guide others through the same process, not just by teaching CNC machining or welding, but by offering perspective, encouragement, and a clear example of what’s possible on the other side.

They understand that learning a trade is only part of the journey. They help students rebuild confidence, find new purpose, and move forward not just with skills, but with a renewed sense of identity. 

We’re proud to work alongside them, to learn from them, and to recognize them this week for the impact they make every single day.
