Workshops for Warriors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides veterans, transitioning service members, and other students with training and nationally-recognized credentials in CNC machining, welding and more. WFW accepts Post-9/11 GI Bill and is a DoD SkillBridge program.

Course Interest

Workshops for Warriors has 3 semesters a year. Dates change each year but please use the following to determine what semester you are eligible for. Please keep in mind, you MUST be within 180 days (6 months) of your EAS to be eligible.

Spring Semester - Begins at the beginning of January and graduates mid-April

Summer Semester - Begins late April/early May and graduates mid-August

Fall Semester - Begins in late August and graduates mid December

Application Requirements

You must complete the following requirements to finalize your application.

1. Pass Aptitude Test

2. Schedule Orientation

Orientations are held at Workshops for Warriors at 2970 Main Street, San Diego, CA 92113 on Mondays at 3:30 p.m, and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. PST. They typically take 30-45 minutes.
