In 2015, Aaron, a Workshops for Warriors graduate, was hired as an Engineering Drafter. We had a moment to talk to his employer, and here is what he said:

“We are growing at a rapid pace and have filled just over a half-dozen new positions this past year among Sales, Engineering, and Marketing. Luckily, we have managed to fill all of our open positions successfully. The difficulties found in filling the positions come from finding the candidate who not only has the required skill set, but who is also is a great fit for the culture of the organization. This could even be considered a more important requirement. Aaron far exceeds both.

The Engineering Drafter position proved difficult to find a candidate who had obtained both the required knowledge and theory of the CAD program (SOLIDWORKS) we use and who could also show experience and real-word application.

Absence of real-world experience with SOLIDWORKS and general mechanical aptitude seemed to be the skills that were most lacking. Again, Aaron was a standout candidate based on his experience in the US Navy and also from the skills he obtained during attendance at Workshops for Warriors. The ability for him to show proof of knowledge with his CSWP certificate earned at Workshops for Warriors pushed him to the front of the pack in the candidate pool during the hiring process.

FoxFury is very impressed with what we’ve seen from Workshops for Warriors. We would absolutely recommend this organization to other employers seeking job candidates.“
